Paints, pastels, pencils, pigma, polymer clay, fabric, Tyvek, felt, cheesecloth, tissue paper, decoupage, Apoxy Sculpt, & sealers.
Aldora is a splendid cocooned doll measuring approximately 13”. Sewn from a simple shape, her head is made of polymer clay, covered in fabric and hand painted. Layers of tissue paper and paint are decoupaged onto the fabric body. Aldora is displayed in a suspended cone of Tyvek, cheesecloth, and felt. Hand painted cheesecloth dipped in Mod Podge and tied to an Apoxy branch serves as a wonderful nesting home for Aldora

This is a great design idea. She really looks like she has been cocooned and is about to emerge. You've done a great job of fabriccovering the face - it really looks smooth.
Very unique! Love the coccoon idea. Is she supposed to be viewed sideways or is it just the photo?
