HOUSTON!!!

Sweet Marlene shows off her doll which is "Hot to Trot"
The Very talented, Camille Pratt. Thanks for sharing your beauties with me... Keep me posted about what we talked about... LOL!!!
Norma and Laura share their incredible DIP(S).
Laura and her lovely gal.
Nancie and Carol show off their 'hotties'.
Nancie added hair---WOW!!!
This is Stephanie's first doll. Amazing!
Kerry making a Very elaborate headdress.
Laura showing her lush, lavender lady.
Veronica incorporated vivid blues, burgundy, and gold for this beauty.
Brilliant color and lots of beading went into Trudi's lovely lady.
Joyce and Liz, in a "world of their own" LOL!!!

Joyce (left) created this soft, subtle beauty with the most angelic eyes and Liz worked my techniques on an Awesome flat face. My buddy Dorothy, from MM&M, joined me again for another workshop. She zipped through the face and did a Beautiful job. Adrienne flew in from Chicago to join us for the workshop. She did an Amazing job on her face sculpting, I cannot wait to see how she completes her.
OH, what a Terrific time I had. This past weekend, I taught The Material Girls of Houston and loved every minute of it!!! The ladies were so kind and receptive, I couldn't ask for a nicer group. As you all can see, the dolls turned out fantastic! Each one looks different and has a personality all "her" own. I am so proud...
I stayed with Marlene Slobin and must say, she could possibly be the most sweetest person one could ever encounter. She and I had such fun talking, working on her doll, watching HGTV, shopping, and cooking.
Ladies-I'll cherish these memories for a long time. Thanks for having me!

They are all fabulous! No surprise there though - you're a great teacher. Marlene has one of my earlier dolls, LOL. Or at least she used to.

Wow! All the dolls turned out beautifully. The showgirls in Vegas must be really worried right now. It's a good thing Houston isn't super close to the strip. So much fun to see here so I've awarded you the Brilliante Weblog Award here:

Thank you for posting the picture of my late wife, Camille Pratt. I had never seen it before. I spend each day amidst her beautiful dolls but mourn the fact that there will be nothing more from her fertile imagination. To see her in her element was truly a special, albeit bittersweet, treat.
