This is a mixed-media piece I created for the living room of the Design Is Show House. I had a blank wall I needed to address and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a huge canvas so instead, I opted to use a hollow core door. Not too bad for under $30.00 from the local home improvement store. That backdrop is the beautiful Atlanta skyline...Mediums/media used: plaster, gel medium, metallic acrylic paints, pastels, watercolor, colored pencils, pigma ink, decorative papers, decoupage, glaze, and sealant. Once the weather warms up, I'm adding a layer of polyresin which will make it look like glass. Too CooL! FYI-this piece is for sale, send inquiries to:

Wow Natalie! Good job! :-) How are you?
mega cool!
Wow-thanks a lot!!!
I can't wait to seal this in the resin. Keeping my fingers crossed for warmer weather.
I will post photos when finished, and then I'm going to put her in my etsy. I think I'll have to list it for sale to "local" buyers, as it would cost a fortune to ship:)
